The film accentuates and reveals the most conspicuous pearl in the diverse architecture of the city – Art Nouveau. It is almost impossible to find a street corner that would not provide a view to almost half a dozen or even more buildings of this style. There is no other place in the world like this. Art Nouveau is this basic value that in 1997 determined inclusion of the historic centre of Riga on the World Heritage List.
